Marina set four great courses at the Allambie Heights end of the Manly Dam Reserve today, with some excellent 18 deg C Sydney Winter sunshine to back it up! The bush in the area is quite thick so Marina kept all of the control close to the tracks. There were only a couple of legs on the longer courses where the runners were tempted to take a short cut – but for most it certainly wasn't worth the attempt. All courses had some great views and it was hard not to be distracted by the views across the dam and golf course to the CBD, Chatswood and Manly, not to mention all the great fauna and flora! There were 66 entries in total, with a number of families and first timers!
