CCOSS - Pearl Beach

This year Bennelong is running an event as part of the Central Coast Summer Series. Steve Flick has set a great beach-side course on a new map at Pearl Beach, just on the south side of Umina and Woy Woy. Central Coast events follow the same score course format as Sydney Summer Series, with 30 controls and 45 minutes. In true orienteering form however you will only get 2 minutes to look at your map and plan your course before starting. In reality that is plenty of time; the other 58 minutes of the hour we all spend 'route planning' at SSS is all chat!

Steve will need some helpers on rego, starts and control collection so if you can help it would be much appreciated. The series often attracts a few newcomers too so we might need some people who can explain how it all works.

Why not stay on for a swim and some fish and chips at he beach for lunch afterwards.

Travel time is about an hours from Hornsby. Further event info can be found here: https://eventor.orienteering.asn.au/Events/Show/4097
